John Bergmayer is Legal Director at Public Knowledge, specializing in telecommunications, Internet, and intellectual property issues. He advocates for the public interest before courts and policymakers, and works to make sure that all stakeholders–including ordinary citizens, artists, and technological innovators–have a say in shaping emerging digital policies.
Jared Bomberg is Senior Counsel to Chair Maria Cantwell (D-WA) on the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. In that capacity, Jared leads legislative and oversight efforts related to consumer protection matters, including privacy and cybersecurity, e-commerce and advertising practices, and product safety. Between 2013 and 2019, Jared practiced privacy and cybersecurity law at Hogan Lovells US LLP and Venable LLP. Jared is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A.), the London School of Economics (MSc), and the George Mason School of Law (J.D.).
As Chief Strategy Officer, Blake Brannon oversees all aspects of OneTrust’s strategy, product offerings, technology partnerships, and sales engineering teams responsible for defining the privacy, security, and governance market and OneTrust’s capabilities. Brannon evaluates industry trends and analyst research, while driving strategic planning, design, customer advisory testing, and go to market activities. Before serving as Chief Strategy Officer, Brannon was OneTrust’s first Chief Technology Officer, building the technology platform of trust that has been awarded more than 150 patents. Prior to OneTrust, Brannon was one of the first employees at AirWatch (acquired by VMware for $1.54 billion in 2014), where he served as Global Director of Sales Engineering and Vice President of Product Marketing.
Dennis Buchheim has worked in digital advertising for 20+ years, driven to ensure content and services remain accessible and useful. He is a product-oriented leader who has led organizations to define, launch, and manage demand-side platforms, ad exchanges, targeting systems, identity solutions, audience insights tools, measurement and verification platforms, and other large-scale products/programs in advertising and beyond.
Dennis founded advisory firm ThinkMedium (www.thinkmedium.tech) in 2023 to advance his mission, helping ads and media clients navigate shifts and opportunities in privacy and data strategy, safety, and efficiency.
He was previously a VP at Meta, recruited to collaborate with the advertising ecosystem on privacy, measurement, and trust/safety, with scope later expanded to data science and enablement across business products. This role built on Dennis’ tenure as CEO of advertising technical standards body IAB Tech Lab and his prior ad tech product/business leadership experience at Yahoo and Microsoft.
Before “finding advertising” in 2002, Dennis held engineering and product roles at Apple, Oracle, Actioneer, and iHarvest (which he co-founded), working on a range of enterprise and consumer software products. Dennis earned dual degrees from Brown University, in computer science and business economics.
David Cohen joined IAB in April 2020 as President and was named Chief Executive Officer in September 2020. Cohen is a widely respected advertising agency leader who, prior to IAB, served as President, North America for MAGNA, Interpublic Group’s (IPG) centralized media intelligence, investment, and innovation arm. In this role, Cohen was responsible for more than $20 billion in media spend. During his tenure, Cohen structured and executed large global transactions on behalf of IPG and its clients, with such major IAB member companies as Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Spotify, Twitter, and Verizon Media.
Prior to MAGNA, Cohen served as Chief Investment Officer of UM, ensuring that digital innovation, data, and technology acumen flowed throughout the agency to drive performance. From 2001 to 2011, Cohen served in critical, transformational roles at UM during the explosive growth of digital advertising, including Chief Media Officer, Chief Digital Officer, and Executive Vice President, U.S. Director of Digital Communications. In the late 1990’s, Cohen was responsible for launching and building IPG’s digital practice.
Cohen has a long history of working with trade organizations including IAB and 4As, where he served as chairman of the Interactive Marketing Committee from 2009-2013. He has also been instrumental in initiating several vital industry-wide programs, including the Future of Television, facilitated by EY. Cohen is a Queens native, with a bachelor’s degree in communications from Adelphi University. He was recognized by Adweek as a “Media All Star” and was part of the “Adweek 50” in 2012.
In 2016, David was elected to the Board of Directors of Partnership with Children a non-profit whose mission is to strengthen the emotional, social, and cognitive skills of vulnerable children in New York City to help them succeed in school, society, and life.
David enjoys spending time with his wife and two teenage daughters. A self-described gadget-geek and sometimes fitness fanatic – he ran the NYC Marathon in 2014 and 2019 and Boston Marathon in 2016.
Alex is a product manager on the Privacy Sandbox team at Google. Prior to Google he co-founded Coir, an ads privacy learning platform, led privacy and addressability standards making at IAB Tech Lab, and held product management roles overseeing privacy, ad creative, video ad serving and more at AppNexus/Xandr. Insider named him one of “14 experts from companies like Google and The Washington Post who are determining the future of digital advertising.”

Lauren Culbertson is Twitter’s Head of U.S. Public Policy and is based in Washington, D.C. She leads the company’s federal and state public policy teams and initiatives, including advocating for public policies that support the public conversation happening on Twitter. She also serves as Twitter’s global lead for intermediary liability policy. Previously, Lauren worked in the U.S. Senate and founded an organization, Millennial Bridge, to advocate for public policies that impact millennials. Lauren is a member of IAB’s Public Policy Council.
John Gasparini is an associate in the Corporate practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, where he is part of the firm’s Privacy and Cybersecurity, and Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice groups.
Mr. Gasparini counsels clients on privacy regulatory compliance, data breach response, and associated regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings. He also advises on complex transactional matters and commercial agreements for clients in the telecommunications, media, and technology sectors.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gasparini was an associate with a midsize law firm, specializing in telecommunications issues. He also worked as a Policy Fellow at Public Knowledge, focusing on communications and technology policy issues. Mr. Gasparini earned his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School in 2015, where he served as a Managing Editor of the Federal Communications Law Journal. During law school, he worked as a law clerk for the FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler, as a law clerk for a nationwide wireless carrier, and as a legal intern for a telecommunications trade association. Mr. Gasparini earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina – Beaufort, in 2011.
Daniel is Chair of the Data Strategy, Privacy & Security Group at Frankfurt Kurnit. Daniel advises on a wide range of privacy, security, and AI matters, including compliance with consumer, business, and HR datasets. His expertise spans from handling high-stakes regulatory enforcement actions to shaping the application of privacy laws, including one of the first public actions under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). The Privacy Law Section of the California Privacy Lawyers Association recently named him the 2025 “California Privacy Lawyer of the Year.”
Michael Hahn is Executive Vice President & General Counsel at IAB and IAB Tech Lab. Michael has responsibility for all legal matters, including the direction of legal strategy, privacy compliance, antitrust compliance, intellectual property rights issues, and general corporate matters. Michael is also responsible for serving as an advocate for the digital advertising industry on common legal issues affecting member companies.
Michael joined IAB and IAB Tech Lab from Lowenstein Sandler LLP where he served as Vice Chair of the firm’s Antitrust Practice Group. In that role, he provided clients with strategic counsel around competition, distribution and governance issues. In the area of litigation, Michael’s matters have included multiparty class action antitrust defense representation.
Michael served previously as Co-Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association Antitrust Law Committee. He also previously served on the Editorial Advisory Board of Competition Law 360 and the Advisory Board of the American Bar Association Antitrust Section’s Civil Torts & RICO Committee. Michael frequently publishes on a range of legal and policy issues.

Stephanie Hanson is the Offering Manager of OneTrust, the most widely used privacy, security and governance technology platform. In her role, Hanson oversees the OneTrust Platform’s products across web, mobile and OTT/CTV, working with emerging and enterprise companies on best practices to drive engaging user experiences and build trust while demonstrating compliance across 100s of global data privacy regulations, including CCPA and GDPR. Hanson has publicly spoken on a variety of privacy, security and marketing topics, providing deep insight into regulatory issues and practical approaches to marketing compliance for advertisers and publishers. Hanson is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (FIP, CIPP/E, CIPM) and holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Ghita Harris-Newton is the Director of Government Affairs & Public Policy for Ads at Google, where she leads a team of public policy experts focused on supporting Google’s digital advertising products. Ghita is a privacy and technology legal and public policy expert, with over 10 years in-house at tech companies in Silicon Valley, including as Chief Privacy Officer & VP of Legal at Quantcast and as Assistant General Counsel & Global Head of Privacy at Yahoo. She has served as a clerk in the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii and in private practice in Washington, DC, at the law firms of Mintz Levin and Hogan Lovells. Ghita received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, magna cum laude, and her B.A. from James Madison University, summa cum laude. She lives in San Francisco with her family.
Alysa Hutnik, Partner and Chair of Kelley Drye’s Privacy and Information Security practice, provides practical legal advice in all areas of privacy, data security, and advertising law, with a strong focus on adtech and the intersection of privacy and marketing practices. Anthony Katsur is a media technology veteran with more than twenty-five years of executive leadership and technical experience at innovative technology companies in the digital media industry.
Most recently, Anthony was SVP, Strategy, Operations and Corporate Development at Nexstar Media Group, Inc., the largest local broadcaster in the United States. Anthony was responsible for overseeing strategy, technology platforms and corporate development across Nexstar’s portfolio of digital assets.
Prior to Nexstar, Anthony served as President of Sonobi, where he implemented their product and go to market strategy around people-based marketing. Anthony recruited, and led highly effective teams while driving strategic partnerships with leading media companies, agencies and brands.
Prior to Sonobi, Anthony held global leadership roles at Rubicon Project as EVP of Business Operations and General Manager of Buyer Cloud. He also held global executive roles at MediaMath and Maxifier, where he served as CEO. Earlier in his career, he joined DoubleClick via the acquisition of NetGravity where he lead multiple engineering divisions and also fulfilled several product leadership and general management roles.

Grant is a Product Manager for Privacy & Identity at TripleLift. Prior to his role at TripleLift, Grant was a product manager for privacy and identity at AppNexus/Xandr. During his tenure there, he helped clients navigate the impact of privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA and worked hand-in-hand with the engineering team to bring to market consumer-facing privacy portals. Grant started his career in adtech as a privacy lawyer and transitioned to product management to be closer to solution building. Ms. Rich is Of Counsel at Kelley Drye within their Privacy and Advertising Law Practice, and is one of the nation’s leading experts on privacy and consumer protection, having spent 26 years with the FTC serving in various management roles, most prominently as Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection where she lead a team of hundreds of lawyers and other professionals in Washington and eight regional offices. She has been at the forefront of numerous issues and led a number of influential FTC policy reports on topics including the Internet of Things, Big Data, data brokers, mobile apps, and cross-device tracking. She also led the development of the FTC’s rules protecting children’s online privacy and sensitive financial information. Prior to joining Kelley Drye, Jessica was a fellow at Georgetown University’s Institute for Technology Law & Policy, and an Expert Consultant with Privacy for America, a business coalition focused on developing a framework for federal privacy legislation.
Ami Rodrigues is the head of Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc.’s global privacy program. She oversees legal compliance for global privacy, cybersecurity, technology transactions, e-commerce, machine learning, and mobile app development. Her prior experience includes working with start-ups, state government agencies, and Fortune 100 companies in setting up privacy programs, working with regulators, and navigating data security incidents. She is a graduate of Emory University School of Law and holds the CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM certifications and FIP and PLS designations from the IAPP.

Veronica Torres serves as Chief Privacy Officer at Comscore, a global cross-platform measurement leader helping businesses make informed decisions in complex media environments. She leads Comscore’s global privacy and data protection strategy by working with stakeholders across business functions. She also has experience overseeing the use of social media, mobile applications, and third-party technologies by federal law enforcement, developing privacy training, and working on an array of issues with technology-based start-ups. Brad currently serves as Director – Privacy and Public Policy at Meta. Prior to joining Meta, Brad served as Vice President of Public Policy for the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). Earlier in his career, Brad served as senior advisor to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and as a fellow on the Senate HELP Committee.
