New York, NY – August 7, 2001 – In its first official meeting since being elected last month, the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Board of Directors has announced its new officers for the 2001 – 2002 term. Shelby Bonnie, Chairman and CEO of CNET Networks, Inc., will serve as the IAB’s Chairman; Steve Wadsworth, President of the Walt Disney Internet Group, will serve as Vice Chairman; David Moore, CEO of 24/7 Media will serve as Secretary/Treasurer; and IAB President & CEO Robin Webster has been re-elected President.
“The new IAB Board of Directors has sent a very clear message to the industry that via the election of these officers, the IAB will remain front and center in leading the evolution of the interactive advertising industry for the benefit of its members,” said Ms. Webster. “I look forward to working with the Board and Officers to help advance the use of interactive advertising and marketing through the ongoing IAB initiatives.”

Mr. Bonnie, co-founder of CNET Networks, since 1993 has been instrumental in fueling the network’s growth and leadership, from start-up to global media company. Under Mr. Bonnie’s guidance, CNET Networks has become the leading source of information and commerce services for the technology industry around the world, extending its award-winning technology coverage to print, broadband, radio and wireless platforms under a variety of well-regarded brands that include CNET, ZDNet, TechRepublic and News.com. Before CNET Networks, Mr. Bonnie was a managing director at Tiger Management, a New York-based investment firm, and worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department at Morgan Stanley & Company.
IAB Vice Chairman Steve Wadsworth joined Disney Online, Disney’s first Internet operation in 1995, and is now President of the Walt Disney Internet Group. He has operational responsibility for the Walt Disney Company’s growing Internet portfolio, which includes leading Internet brands Disney.com; ESPN.com; and ABC branded sites. Prior to being named president of Disney’s Internet operations, he served as senior vice president and chief financial officer, responsible for all strategic planning, business development, technology operations, finance, accounting and administrative functions. He came to Disney Online from Disney Consumer Products, where he served as director of business planning. Before joining The Walt Disney Company in 1993, Mr. Wadsworth was a principal for the Windsor Park Group in Los Angeles. He was responsible for providing strategic, operational and financial management consulting services to companies primarily in the retail and consumer products industries.
Secretary/Treasurer David Moore first professional position after college was in television advertising sales, which led him to Turner Broadcasting in 1979. In 1982, he joined Viacom and helped launch the Cable Health Network, which eventually became Lifetime. Mr. Moore spent nearly 10 years at Lifetime where he developed and ran Medical Television, which was targeted to physicians. He also developed HealthLink Television, a waiting room service for patients, that was later sold to Whittle Communications. In 1993, Mr. Moore launched his first online service for physicians, which he sold to Reuters in 1994. In 1995, Mr. Moore co-founded Petry Interactive, which, in 1998, became 24/7 Media, an interactive marketing company which provides a suite of services for interactive advertisers and marketers: network advertising, e-mail list management and brokerage, search engine optimization, promotions, and ad serving technology.
